A Mozambican boy who builds life-size fashions of helicopters and vehicles from wire and cardboard has excessive ambitions.

Luciano Armindo is a vibrant 12-year-old with a fascination for engineering and a outstanding passion: he collects cardboard and wire scraps and meticulously designs and builds life-size fashions of helicopters and vehicles exterior his residence in southern Mozambique.

In Large Little Choppers, filmmaker JJ Nota follows the budding engineer and his brother as they create their outstanding replicas.
