Liz Truss sacked her Chancellor after just a few weeks in workplace, and reversed main financial insurance policies.

The UK’s new chancellor says he didn’t vote for Prime Minister Liz Truss however helps her financial plans.

Jeremy Hunt was appointed after Truss sacked his predecessor, Kwasi Kwarteng, simply six weeks into the job.

His tax-cutting mini-budget, financed via billions in elevated borrowing, led to outrage and protests. And with rising strain on the prime minister, Truss did one other U-turn on Friday.

She introduced the company tax would rise from 19 % to 25 % subsequent April – slightly than staying on the present stage as promised by Kwarteng in his mini-budget.

So how will Truss face her challenges?
